Rezepte Vienna Schnizel(Seitan Cutlet)

  Seitan is vegetable protein out of grain, like Tofu is made out of soyabeans. Both are kind of soft to the teeth compared with animal protain.
So if you prefer hard and chewy for your family, then this kind of deep-fry cooking is suitable. It makes surfice crispy. You can make it as diet cooking, because it is colsterol free, and moreover simply kids will love it.

Ingredients for 4 people

Seitan ..............8-12 pieces
Wholewheat flour .................... 2 cups
bread cram ........................... 2 cups
Sesaml+Rapsl .....................some

Prepair the materials, and dry the surface of Seitan with kitchen paper or cloth.

Put it in the flour powder to make all surface equally kind of dry, and pass through into thick flour water(Also you can use egg here), and put bread cram around Seitan.

Put these Seitan into heated oil of 180 degree, and take it out when the surface becomes nice brown color.

You will enjoy 'Seitan Cutlet' with rice or potato fry and some salad beside. Surprisinly my son,Tamilo(1 year old), liked it very much. He was eagarly biting it.
